Itinerary

Day 1 – Touchdown in Kigali

If you arrive early, take a moment to delve into Kigali’s history with a city tour, including a poignant visit to the Nyamata Memorial site, a testament to the 1994 genocide’s tragic events.

Day 2 – Journey to Volcanoes National Park

Explore the mountainous haven of the Volcanoes National Park, a sanctuary for the elusive mountain gorilla. Immerse yourself in its diverse ecosystems, ranging from bamboo forests to open grasslands. Conclude your day with bird-watching, keeping an eye out for unique species. Overnight at Kinigi Guesthouse or Virunga Lodge.

Day 3 – Into the Heart of Gorilla Territory

Embrace an unforgettable gorilla tracking experience and later, birding amidst the verdant forest. Overnight stay at Kinigi Guesthouse or Virunga Lodge.

Day 4 – Golden Monkeys & Local Insights

Dive into another tracking experience, this time in search of the shimmering golden monkeys. Later, engage with the local community through a village walk.

Day 5 – A Glimpse of Parc National Nyungwe

Day 6 – Chimpanzee Adventure in Cyamudongo

Day 7 – Farewell to Rwanda
